Vlog 001 - Ate Wilma & Hello Rawr Community

Hello RAWR community, this is Spencer Felix. 

Ito na, finally. First ever blog dito sa website, and honestly, mixed emotions siya. Excited, kinakabahan, pero above all, sobrang meaningful. Kasi this blog is not just about jerseys or side hustles, it’s about a dream. A shared dream with my late Ate Wilma.

Ginawa ko tong website hindi lang dahil gusto ko ng jersey store. This was a dream na nabuo namin ni Ate Wilma. pa noong 2023. That time, nasa peak ako ng content creation grind, and sabi ko, “What if gumawa tayo ng jersey store para at least may side hustle din?” It felt like a cool idea, pero more than that, it was a passion project na connected sa identity ko and sa community. By early 2024, I was ready to go all in. Pero ayun, life happened. Ate Wilma got diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. And habang halos tapos na yung website, biglang she passed away. Grabe yung impact nun. Nawalan ako ng gana, and the site just stayed unpublished for months.

Noong first death anniversary niya, dun ko naisip ulit. This website is more than a store. It’s part of our shared dream. It’s proof na kahit wala na siya physically, dala ko pa rin yung vision namin. Kaya sabi ko, time to finally release this. Not for profit. Not for clout. Pero to honor her, and to remind myself of the “why” behind everything I do.

Yes, jerseys yung starting point. Pero ang totoong purpose nito is bigger. Every jersey in this website, it’s a piece of me, and a piece of our story.

When you wear one, dala mo rin yung journey ko at yung legacy ni Ate Wilma. Kaya hindi lang siya merch. Para siyang reminder that one small idea can carry so much meaning for a whole community.

Ang goal ko rin is to show you guys the side of Spencer na hindi lang puro TikTok videos. This vlog is where I can talk about life, struggles, wins, at kung ano pa man na hindi lagi nakikita sa mga short-form clips. Gusto ko maging transparent, vulnerable, and more relatable with you all.

I am excited kasi hindi ko alam exactly kung saan dadalhin ng project na ‘to. Maybe it grows into a bigger platform. Maybe makatulong siya sa ibang tao. Maybe it becomes a pedestal para makapag-raise ng awareness or support for causes close to me. Ang alam ko lang, this is just the start.
